Resurrecting poems


Ink, Sweat & Tears has reprinted an old(ish) poem of mine, "The Birthmother's Handbook," written in 1994 and first published in the US lit mag Ascent in 1996.

    'Old(ish)' perhaps, but none the less powerful for that - this poem resonates with me as much today as it did when I first read it. Thank you.

    I agree with Anonymous: for me, one of the poems in this series that has impacted me most. It's so fully achieved and realised.
