Read Brandi Homan's whimsical poem of advice for poets here, in the current issue of Anti-. I'd be glad to know which piece of advice you find most useful or humourous. My favourite line is probably "James Wright has already seen horses in a field".
Fantastic. I must admit I've written a poem about that annoying sing-song "I'm a Poet" voice people use when reading. I'm afraid to recite it or publish it anywhere tho. That may be the end of my poetry career :-) But then again, we Americans can get away with all sorts of bad behavior :-)) (again).
I think she may be on to something about rabbits being the new monkeys.
