Three Southwest Readings

On Wednesday, 24 January, a new spoken word event begins in Bath at The Egg (part of The Royal Theatre), 7:30-9:30 p.m. I'll be attending and reading to support it, especially as one of my MA students, Zoë Howarth, is co-organiser. It's two-fifty if you're coming to listen, free if you're coming to read and you sign up in advance by emailing Zoë at cute_goth13@hotmail.com.

On Friday, 2 February, Alan Summers, John Bentley, Liz Watts, and I (and possibly also Matt Bryden) will read at Art House in Bradford on Avon, 7:30 p.m. for an eight o'clock start. This event will also start a new reading series, titled Voices from the Gallery; limited floor spots will also be available by signing up on the night.

The third reading is my February third reading in Exeter, details on the post below.

(You know you've been living in England for some time when "the southwest" means Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset, rather than New Mexico, Arizona, and southern California.)

Next reading

Happy new year--here's hoping this year is one of the best.

My next reading is on behalf of Automatic Lighthouse, whose current issue carries two of my prose poems. The reading will be held at the Exeter Picturehouse's cafe bar on Saturday, 3 February from 1:30-2:30 p.m. There will also be an open reading.
